Video Walkthrough For Students:


Goal:

The primary goal of this assignment is to provide students with a hands-on opportunity to develop and refine their communication and presentation skills using InStage. Through this simulated sales meetings, students will engage in a virtual sales meeting that they can look back on with detailed feedback on how they can improve.


What To Expect During The Simulation:

This simulation will begin with a brief introduction by your buyer. After this, the stage will be yours to practice pitching your product/service/idea. You will have as much time as you need but keep your explanations as concise and clear as you can so that your buyer does not lose interest or get confused. After you conclude your pitch, the floor will open up to any questions from the buyers. It will be your job to answer these questions to the best of your abilities. Once you have answered all of the buyers questions, the simulation will conclude and you can generate your report and view/ share your results.


Device Considerations:

  • A computer with a webcam and microphone enabled (InStage will not operate on a mobile device)

  • Stable Internet Connection

  • Web Browsers: Google Chrome or Safari


What To Submit:

You are required to submit your simulation report link to your instructor. This can be found at the top right of your report by clicking on "Share" and "Copy".
