At InStage, we are committed to ensuring our application is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. This document outlines the accessibility features of our app to help you navigate and use it effectively.

1. Text Alternatives for Audio

InStage offers text alternatives for all audio content. This ensures that users who are deaf or hard of hearing can access the same information. Wherever there is audio, you will find corresponding text that conveys the same message. (i.e. simulation real-time transcript)

2. Screen Reader Compatibility

Our app is fully navigable using various screen readers, including:

  • Microsoft Narrator: Windows' built-in screen reader.

  • NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access): A free and open-source screen reader for Windows.

We have optimized our app to work with these tools, providing an inclusive experience for visually impaired users.

3. Use of Brand Colors

While we do use brand colors in our app, we ensure that color is not the only means of conveying information. For users with color vision deficiencies, there are additional indicators such as text labels or symbols to clarify the meaning.

4. Keyboard Navigation

Our app supports keyboard navigation, allowing users to access all features without the need for a mouse. Key functions include:

  • Tab: Move to the next focusable element.

  • Shift + Tab: Move to the previous focusable element.

  • Enter/Spacebar: Activate a selected item.

  • Arrow Keys: Navigate through menus and lists.

5. Adjustable Text Size

Users can adjust the text size within our app to improve readability. This can be done through the app settings or by using the accessibility features of your operating system.

  • control or command + zooms in

  • control or command - zooms out

6. High Contrast Mode

For users with low vision, InStage supports high contrast mode. This can be enabled in the app settings or through your operating system’s accessibility settings.

7. Accessible Customer Support

If you encounter any accessibility issues while using our app, our customer support team is here to help. You can reach us through the following channels:

  • Live Chat: Available on our website via the intercom button the under "messages" tab.
