Quick Steps

  1. Switch to google chrome

  2. Click on the 3 dots on the top right of chrome.

  3. Click on "Translate"

  4. Select a language.

InStage does not currently support multiple languages. Only English is supported currently. However, there is a workaround to change the language of the transcript text.

Step 1. Open Google Chrome: Other browsers may support this feature, but it is best to stick to chrome if you are able to.

Step 2. Click on the 3 dots on the top right of chrome and select "Translate".

Step 3. Select a language: Google provides an auto translate feature built in with a variety of languages. This will automatically translate any text on that page to the language you specified.

Things to Note:

  • Now you should see the page in your new language. Every time the page changes, you will need to click on translate again. However, there will be a new icon in your search bar that will act as a quick translate button.

  • Although this changes the text so that you can read what the avatar is saying, you will still need to speak in English for now or find an alternative method such as google translates text to speech.
