Quick Steps:

  • Turn on graphics acceleration on Chrome

  • Is your device older?

  • Internet speed test?

  • If on windows, check your task manager for high usage applications

Running a simulation only to be faced with incredible lag can be quite frustrating. However, there are a few things that you can try to resolve this.

Step 1. Try turning on graphics acceleration from your browsers settings.

Chrome: chrome://settings/system (copy/paste link into new tab)

Edge: edge://settings/system (copy/paste link into new tab)

Step 2. If the issue persists after step 1, it is a good idea to take a look at the age of your device and check your internet speed. This will depend of what device you have but to check your internet speed, you can type in "internet speed test" into google and run a test. This will show you how quick your upload & download speeds are.

Step 3. On windows, check your task manager for any high usage amounts of your CPU, GPU, RAM, etc. If there are any abnormalities, check to see which processes are causing the high usage & close them if they are not important.

At this point, if you have tried all of these options and are still out of luck, reach out to our support team and they will be happy to help you troubleshoot further!
