If you are joining a simulation and the avatar is not speaking, this could be due to not having the microphone or camera set up and given access. Here is how to fix it.

Step 1. Navigate To The Audio & Video Settings. You will need to click on the account icon and select "Audio & Video" from there.

Step 2. Allow Camera & Microphone Access. If you are on chrome, there will be two pop ups in the top left asking to allow access. If these don't show up for you, try an incognito browser (Crtl+Shift+N)

Step 3. Select Your Devices. Make sure that you are using your devices. You can check to see if they are working by viewing your camera from the box, using the microphone input level to see if it is picking up your voice. (If the bar below it picks up audio, it will interact with your voice). The speaker can be tested by clicking on the button. If you can hear a sound come from it then you are good to go. Make sure to check that all three are working.

Step 4. Refresh the page. You can ensure that everything is properly saved by refreshing and going back to that window to see if your devices still work. Then you can try to start a new simulation and hopefully that works for you!
