Video Demonstration For Students:

Step 1. Use the Sign Up link provided by your instructor.

Note: Do not start a Free Trial or you will not have access to the resources provided by your organization. Make sure to use the Sign Up link provided by your instructor. This link will usually be posted on your course website or sent to you via email.

Step 2. Sign Up for an InStage Account

After you click the Sign Up link provided by your instructor you will see a sign up page like in the example below. If you are using InStage for the first time, you will need to click Sign up (as shown in the picture below).

The picture below indicates where to click after using the Sign Up link provided by your instructor. This picture is only an example to show you what you should do on the real website. You will see the same options once you click the Sign Up link provided by your instructor.

After you click Sign up follow the instructions and activate your account

Step 3. Select The Generate Button under the Job Interview option to begin customizing your own interview.

Step 4. Locate a Job Posting. This can be one that you come up with, or, what we recommend doing, is find one from a job hosting platform such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.

Copy and paste a job description from a job board into InStage

Step 5. Copy/ Paste Info. You will then need to copy/paste the job title and description into the InStage Interview like so:

Step 6. Select a Character and Hit Generate. InStage offers a variety of characters and personality types to choose from. Choose a character that you would like to use and also change up their personality if your feeling up to it. You can also select random if you would like to.

Step 7. Review Settings and Start Meeting. This page will give you an auto-generated-breakdown of the information you provided. From here, you are all set and can start the interview.
