InStage interview simulations can be broadly broken down into sections with specific question types and grading schemes. Here's how it works.

Grading Overview:

If your interview is a graded assignment, here are some factors to pay attention to:

  1. Content - The quality, relevance, and structure of your answer.

  2. Delivery - Your pace, volume, and use of filler words.

  3. Completion - The time you spent answering each question.

  4. Other- e.g. Video recording professionalism.

General Interview Simulation Breakdown:

InStage simulations generally range between 7-15 minutes depending on your answer length. For each question you will be given an unlimited amount of time to answer, however, you must ensure that your answers are clear, concise, well-paced and relevant. Therefore, it is recommended that you aim for between 30 seconds to 2 minutes per answer.
