How Higher Ed Admins Can View Usage Reports

This guide is for Account Admins to track licenses allocated, sessions recorded and usage by type.

Account Admins can easily track their account usage throughout the contract period.

Step 1: Navigate to Usage

From the left-hand navigation menu, click Usage to open the Usage Metrics Dashboard.

Step 2: Review Key Metrics

The dashboard provides insights into:

  • Licenses & Students

    • Licenses allocated vs. purchased

    • Total unique students active in the selected period

  • Sessions & Activity

    • Total sessions recorded

    • Session volume by type: Assignment, Self‑Serve, and Dispatch

    • Usage by module type (Interview, Reflection, Resume Assist, Cover Letter, Job Search, etc.)

  • Engagement Insights

    • Top student and staff activity

    • Top sub‑account activity (helpful for institutions with multiple departments or programs)

    • “Most Popular” module callout, highlighting which activity is most engaging for students

  • Feature Updates

    • A new bell icon at the top of the dashboard (next to the TMU logo) will populate with updates on new features and fixes relevant to your account.

💡 Tip: The Usage Tab is set to your contract term by default, making it easy to track progress across the full period.

Step 3: Adjust Date Range

By default, the Start and End Dates match your contract period.

  • Click the calendar icon to select a custom timeframe

  • After updating, click Apply to refresh the report

Step 4: Export Reports

  • Click Download PDF in the top right corner to export a snapshot of the current report.

Tips for Admins

  • Use the Most Popular module callout to identify engagement trends.

  • Compare sub‑account activity to see how different areas/departments are using the platform.

  • Watch the bell icon for updates on new features and fixes.

  • Track session types (Assignment, Self‑Serve, Dispatch) to understand how students/clients as well as staff are engaging.
