Key Features
Job-specific feedback: All feedback is tailored to the precise job posting targeted by the student.
Flexible AI involvement: Instructors may allow AI to draft content for student refinement, or restrict AI to providing suggestions while students retain full control.
One-click AI Optimization Access: Instructors can enable or disable one-click AI optimization. When enabled, students can instantly optimize their resumes with AI. When disabled, the optimize buttons are hidden.
ATS Score Visibility: Instructors can choose whether students see their ATS score and related feedback. Turning this off hides ATS scoring and ATS feedback from student view.
Mock interview integration: Resume content is incorporated into mock interview reference data..
Feedback & Analytics
Section-by-section scoring with actionable feedback: Each section of the resume and cover letter receives a rating (missing, poor, good, excellent) along with specific guidance on what to improve.
Rubric developed in partnership with institutions: Scoring criteria prioritize alignment between student documents and the targeted job posting. Customization of the rubric is available.
Example in Practice
The process begins with a student uploading a resume to the platform. Depending on instructor settings, the student may see an Optimize with AI button. If enabled, they can instantly generate AI-driven suggestions for their resume. Importantly, students must review each suggestion. They decide whether it is accurate and should be included, or whether it represents a skill that is still being developed or does not apply to their experience. This ensures that the final resume remains authentic and personalized.
Next, the system evaluates the document against job-specific criteria. If ATS Score Visibility is enabled, the student receives an ATS score and detailed feedback. The score shows how well their resume would perform in applicant tracking systems. It helps them understand the importance of keyword alignment and formatting. If visibility is turned off, the student still receives section-by-section feedback, but without ATS scoring. This keeps the focus on content quality.
During the check-in, the student revises their resume based on targeted feedback. They refine the presentation of skills and experiences. In the final stage, students reflect on how AI suggestions and ATS insights (when enabled) enhanced their resumes for real-world applications. Staff observe that the process scales efficiently and supports large cohorts without increasing manual grading workload. Instructors retain full control over the balance between authentic student work and AI assistance.
